Email invoices automatically
When an invoice is generated, email it to the billing contact with PDF attachment.

Send a notice when a new bill is generated. I was overcharged almost $4000 last month and didn't catch it because you don't send a notice.
This is a VERY IMPORTANT issue, particularly because I was overbilled by nearly $4000 last month!!!!
If I am notified when a new bill is generated I will check the bills immediately and I will catch insane mistakes like this much quicker.10 votes -
Domain registration report
I would like a report to find out ALL domains that I have registered with you along with their expiration date for the Rackspace Cloud control panel. The reason is I recently has messages from click and name saying one of my domains were about to expire. I could not for the life of me remember the domain registrar for a .ca domain. They totally ignored my emails and it was only luck that I saw the message "Reminder: An alias domain will not automatically be renewed. Please contact Support to have the alias domain renewed."

Provide visibility of on-going monthly cost, broken down by server, bandwidth, cloudfiles etc.
In the middle of a billing cycle, I need to have a view on likely eventual monthly cost and having the point-in-time costs for the current month would be very useful.

Invoices grouping by server name
It would be good to have cumulative running count in terms of billing depending on the name of the server instead as well as the current one based on unique id of server.
We spawn up and down the same servers every day on our test environment and we don't know how much a server cost at the end of the month.
Going throug the entire invoice and manually sum it is really painfull.
Any solution aroud this would be good.

provide some context to your cloud billing emails.
At the moment the billing reminder email provides no context, no invoice information and no link to a ticket. If you have multiple accounts like us how are you supposed to know what the email is referring to? Taking a leaf out of the dedicated server hosting email communication would be a good start.

credit card billing be in local currency...
credit card billing in local currency... (Aus$) at moment I get charged a international transaction fee every month, as well as currency exchange rates varying makes it hard to balance budget.

automatic emailing of the bill
Please make it possible to automatically email bills! Now, I have to manually retrieve it and send it to our finance department. Very cumbersome.

CSV download for invoice details.
We have a mixture of different production and test servers in the same cloud account. It would be very useful to get a csv download for the invoice details so that it can be imported to a spreadsheet and then processed to match internal cost centers.

fix suggestion of using chat to resolve billing issues for non-us customers
A billing issue results in the following notification:
The Rackspace Cloud has recently experienced problems when attempting to charge your credit card for the use of your account. Often, this can be triggered by a change in your address, credit card number, or other billing information. Please contact a member of our billing department so we can resolve the issue and restore your control panel access. Create a global maximum bandwidth limit.
I would like to see a way to either limit the max bandwidth or max $ amount per month to limit risk for small businesses.
